Join us at the Gathering for our much loved Team Trio Constructed event. 

Assemble your team and come together to compete for thrilling fun and cool prizes! 

This ticket includes a pass for entry to the venue all weekend! 

  

Prizes 

The team in  First Place  after the Swiss get to be featured on a new  Axion Now team token  as well as 3 Boxes of Modern Horizons II (1 box per team member) 

2nd to 8th Place  – 3 booster boxes of  Phyrexia : All will be One (1 box per team member)  

Teams on a Winning Record –  3 wins & 1 draw – Generous booster prizes 

  

Entry 

£45 per player, £135 team price (early bird price available until Sunday 29th January midnight) 

£50 per player, £150 team price (regular price) 

The team captain will register on behalf of the whole team and will need to pay the entry fee for all three players 

  

Tournament Structure 

– The event is expected to end between 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm 

– Competitive REL 

– Deck Lists are required for all three decks.  

– There is no need to tell us the team member names beyond the ‘Team Captain’, ie the person buying the ticket. You will be managing the team in the event app ‘Companion’ 

  

 

For those are not familiar with the format, Team Trios, here is a brief description: 

Each of you has a deck that’s legal for your format – there are no additional deck construction rules (this is not unified). 

Each round, you play against another team – your Legacy player fights their Legacy player, etc. You will win, lose and draw as a team. If the other two members of your team have finished their matches and they both won, or both lost, then your match cannot affect the overall result. 

  

Your individual match is best of 3 and your teams result is first to two wins. 

Teams get 3 pts for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss 

Teams will be paired using the usual modified Swiss pairing system – this will normally mean playing other teams on similar scores to you but the peculiarities of the system when playing in Teams means this can vary a lot, especially in the last round.There is no result slip – all results will be entered via Companion app 

At the end of the day, the team with the most match points finishes top of the pile!

 Refund Policy 

When life gets in the way…   

Ticket price includes a £5 non-refundable booking fee.   

– Those who get a message to us to cancel up to 6pm the night before: we will refund  

 

– Players who cancel on the day but prior to the event: we refund IF we can fill their space 

 

– Players who do not turn up for the event: there is no refund   

If Government guidelines mean we cannot run the event then we will refund any ticket purchase.
